Assolati Montecucco Rosso

This wine, Assolati Montecucco Rosso is made from 80% Sangiovese grapes, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon and  2 important native varieties to the area, Colorino and Ciliegiolo 15%.  Kept in French oak barrels for 4 - 5 months, and then refined in bottles for 5 - 6 months.  This wine is a dry bold dark red Sangiovese blend with a good tannin content.
